UK Visitor Visa
In July 2024, we were instructed by an Iranian national residing in Germany to assist with her UK visitor visa application.
The applicant had previously applied for a UK visitor visa in 2023, which was refused due to insufficient information and contradictions regarding her financial circumstances.
Given the prior refusal, our primary challenge was to ensure that this fresh application demonstrated her genuine visitor status and strong ties to Germany, ensuring compliance with the Immigration Rules Appendix Visitor.
A major challenge in this case was addressing the concerns raised in the previous refusal and ensuring that the new application provided a clear and consistent explanation. The Home Office had previously found contradictions in the applicant’s financial details, which we resolved by obtaining comprehensive supporting evidence.
To strengthen her application, we:
- Obtained letters from her university and workplace in Germany, confirming her enrolment and employment, to establish her strong ties to her country of residence.
- Ensured that financial support from her long-term partner, who resides in the UK, was clearly documented with bank statements and a sponsorship letter.
- Provided a detailed cover letter explaining the applicant’s circumstances and addressing the concerns from her previous refusal.
To demonstrate that the applicant met all the requirements of the Immigration Rules Appendix Visitor we were proving the sponsor’s eligibility while ensuring that the sponsor’s presence in the UK was not misconstrued as an indication that the applicant intended to remain in the UK. We provided sufficient evidence to establish that she could return to Germany and not breach her visa conditions.
