Commercial Solicitor
Location: Hybrid (negotiable)
Type: 37.5 hours a week
Salary: Competitive
Role and Responsibilities:
- Contract reviews such as Supplier Contracts, licensing Contracts, and Master Service Agreements.
- Drafting commercial contracts and other commercial documents such as onboarding agreement
- Ability to draft Infrastructure as a Service Agreements (IAAS) or a willingness to learn
- Providing advice on existing and proposing commercial arrangements.
- Provide general commercial legal advice.
- Advising clients and liaising with other third parties in the giving of commercial advice and drafting of commercial documents.
- Developing and maintaining good client relationship skills, gaining the confidence of clients and other professionals.
- Advising clients in a professional manner and ensuring that the advice given is accurate and in line with current legislation.
- Supporting a broad range of general commercial legal work from tech to construction, with advice relating to subsidiary control, grant funding and the opportunity to work on high value and strategic projects.
- Commercial dispute resolution where necessary.
Essential Criteria:
- A qualified solicitor by the Solicitors Regulations Authority (SRA).
- A qualifying Bachelors Degree in Law
- Previous experience in a commercial firm of 3-4 years of PQE
- Excellent writing skills and commercial approach.
- Strong business network.
- The ability to grow a commercial law practice.
Desirable:
- Worked with international clients.
- Previous experience working with Data Centre/technological clients.
- Previously dealt with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS agreements

- Initiative and proactive approach.
- Maturity and gravitas.
- Flexible work practice.
- High work standards.
- Ambitious learner.
- The skillsets developed by the successful candidate would be wide-ranging and versatile with the aim of being able to respond to a breadth of request driven by the business needs of the wider global firm.
