The Start-Up Visa is aimed at new entrepreneurs who want to establish a business in the UK for the first time
The Start-up visas is tailored towards aspiring entrepreneurs who wish to establish themselves in the business world. You will need a business idea which is innovative, viable and scalable, and it must be approved by a Home Office approved endorsing body. You’re not required to have secured any initial funding or show that you have funds to make an initial investment into your business, as there is no specified minimum investment criteria.
The Innovator Visa is aimed at experienced businesspeople seeking to establish a new business in the UK
You will need a business idea which is innovative, viable and scalable, approved and supported by an endorsing body. You are expected to present a fresh and novel business idea. There is a specified minimum investment criterion of £50,000 that you are expected to have access to (through your own funds or a third party). The funds can already be shown as invested in your business.
